What to expect?

Smoke odors are one of the most difficult odors to remove from a vehicle. Any level of smoke odor remove requires an intense removal process that takes a minimum of two days to complete. The goal is to removal the odor completely not just mask it. Two major factors will determine what level of expectation to expect from our smoke removal service.

(1) how long the vehicle has been smoked in and (2) the severity of which it was smoke in. Our thorough cleaning process paired with an OZONE treatment will help to eliminate and reduce smoke odors not just mask them.

The longer and more intense a vehicle has been smoked in the harder and longer the removal process is. If it has been years of heavy smoking with visible smoke damage chances of a 100% removal are extremely low. When it gets to this point certain fabric items may need to be replaces such as carpeting, seats, headliner etc. in order to completely eliminate the odor however the condition can still most certainly be significantly improved using this service.

Our Process:

1) Vacuum all cracks and crevices thoroughly. Including between and under seats as well as inside trunk and cargo areas to remove any ash or tobacco particles.

2) Thoroughly clean all plastics and leather surfaces with a smoke-odor specific cleaner paired with high pressure steam to help neutralize tobacco odors.

3) Treat and extract carpet, fabric seats, and floor mats using hot water extraction and tobacco-specific detergent.

4) Clean all windows and mirror surfaces.

5) Remove cabin air filter and perform smoke odor specific fogger application on interior and HVAC system.

6) Begin Ozone treatment to reduce and eliminate the odor

7) Replace cabin air filter with a new filter. Your old filter has trapped smoke odors that would recirculate back into your interior once your A/C or heater is turned on if not replaced.

NOTE: Even though we follow the thorough process outlined above this does not mean we can always guaranteed complete odor elimination. Some things are outside the scope of what our services can eliminate but we can assure conditions will be greatly improved.
